The announcement was made during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, on January 20, 2025. This new centre will provide cutting-edge cloud, AI, and digital transformation solutions to global clients across industries such as hi-tech, life sciences, and financial services. New Center to Boost Hyderabad’s Position as a Leading IT HubThe new 320,000 sqft tech centre, located in Hyderabad’s Hi-Tech City, will house 5,000 IT employees. It has been awarded the Gold Certification by the Indian Green Building Council, reflecting HCLTech's commitment to sustainable business practices. The centre is expected to play a vital role in delivering innovative solutions while contributing to the local technology ecosystem. HCLTech, which has been present in Hyderabad since 2007, now operates five centres across the city, offering a total of 8,500 seats.
