New Delhi: Three men have been arrested and a minor apprehended for allegedly murdering a 22-year-old man in northeast Delhi's Moonga Nagar last week. The group was allegedly seeking revenge for bullying, police said on Thursday. Around 6.35 pm on Feb 3, Dayalpur police station received a PCR call about a dead body. Upon reaching the spot, officers found the victim, later identified as Bhola (22), a Mustafabad resident and e-rickshaw driver, lying in a pool of blood. Forensic teams conducted an inspection, and the body was sent for post-mortem. During the investigation, police found that the group had caught hold of Bhola, assaulted him, and stabbed him around 10 times in the neck, back, and head before fleeing, a senior officer said. "Our police team scanned CCTV footage and gathered information from local sources. Based on the collected details, the suspects were identified. Raids were conducted at various locations, leading to the arrest of three men, while a 17-year-old boy was apprehended from Amroha, Uttar Pradesh," the officer added. The arrested individuals were identified as Mohammad Sahil alias Lucky (19), Shahnawaz alias Sameer (20), and Mohammad Ali Noori alias Yusuf (20). Upon sustained interrogation, they admitted to their involvement and revealed that Bhola had allegedly bullied and publicly assaulted the minor on multiple occasions. Frustrated by his behavior, the 17-year-old, along with his friends, planned and executed the murder.
