PJIO aims for long-term capital growth by investing predominantly in equity and equity-related securities of companies of any size from anywhere around the world, outside of the US. The fund may include common stocks, preferred and convertible securities, REITs, depositary receipts, and investments in other mutual funds and ETFs. As the fund may invest without limitation in any non-US stock, it could concentrate in a single country or region and may invest a significant portion of its assets in companies located in emerging markets. The fund aims to make broad investments in stocks in the early stages of accelerating growth, with characteristics such as sustainable competitive advantages, ability to execute a business strategy, and appropriate valuation.
