FGSI holds a select group of 50 US companies chosen for their strong fundamentalshealthy balance sheets, reliable cash flow, and steady earnings growth. Its primary aim is to make monthly distributions, with longer-term growth as a secondary focus. To enhance income, the fund overlays an options strategy by selling call options on the S&P 500 or ETFs linked to it. This limits some upside during strong markets but generates additional cash flow through premiums, with the goal of exceeding the S&P 500s typical dividend yield. The stock lineup follows the Growth Strength Index, but allocations are actively managed to align with the funds income objectives.
