Icelands governmental policies focus on providing clean energy and innovation. 100% of the countrys electricity needs is generated from resources such as hydroelectric and geothermal power. The index is constructed of local companies which must meet specific criteria regarding their revenue sources and market listings, while non-local firms derive significant revenue from industries tied to Icelands economy, such as fishing and seafood. The Index is rebalanced quarterly. The fund may engage in lending portfolio securities to potentially increase income.
